Kitchen Cabinet Painters

Local Kitchen Cabinet Painters

The kitchen is the heart of the home, so it needs to be treated with warmth and respect for what it represents. Whether you enjoy entertaining, cooking, or simply spending time with your family in the kitchen, it's a space that needs a lot of extra care and love.

Kitchen trends change rapidly, and what was once cutting-edge can quickly feel dated and boring. Instead of planning a whole kitchen revamp, why not opt for a small renovation by painting your kitchen cabinets instead?

What are the Benefits of Painting Kitchen Cabinets?

Many kitchen remodeling projects can quickly escalate out of control, both in terms of deadlines and budget. An alternative option to ripping out and replacing your entire kitchen is to repaint your cabinets and maybe add in new fixtures and fittings.

Several benefits, apart from cost, make kitchen cabinet painting in Toronto so appealing. These include:

  • You can renovate much faster than installing new cabinets

  • You can maintain the same kitchen layout

  • You prevent excess waste that comes with throwing away perfectly good cabinets

  • The cost to repaint kitchen cabinets is significantly lower than installing new ones

  • You can also replace hinges and handles to update their style

“My wife and I have been looking to brighten our kitchen up by changing the colour from a dark brown to a bright white. I chose Geoff from Small Town Painting based on some feedback that I read on Facebook. I have to say that I definitely do not regret that decision.

They were on time and the work was completed in two days as I was told it would be. They took their time and were very meticulous to ensure that the finish on the cabinets was top quality. They also cleaned the work area well. I am super impressed with the results and would definitely recommend Geoff and Small Town Painting for all your painting needs.”

The Painting Process

When we first come to your home to discuss repainting your kitchen cabinets, we'll offer you several options tailored to meet your needs and your budget. We have two main processes for painting your cabinets, each of which provides excellent results: spray painting and brush painting.

Spray Painting

The gold standard for kitchen cabinet painting is to use spray paint. With this method, we'll remove any cabinet doors and drawers and move them to our off-site facility. There, we spray-paint the doors with a hard-wearing, durable enamel paint, applying multiple coats.

The benefit of professional spray painting of kitchen cabinets is the smooth finish that results. We ensure that the cabinet doors have a perfectly even finish with no blemishes or faults. They will look like new.

To complement your new cabinet doors and drawers, we'll use the same paint on the boxes on-site, where we'll apply it using a micro-fiber roller technique.

Micro fiber mini-roller finish

Using a Micro-fiber roller tends to be a more affordable option while still giving excellent results. As with spray paint, we remove the doors and drawers and paint them on-site. We ensure that we create a smooth finish using this technique. Brush lines are kept to the bare minimum and we use self leveling highly durable products for the most even application possible.

If you're looking for a cost effective solution, while still retaining a high-quality, durable paint job, the micro-fiber roller application is the right option for you.

No matter what option you choose, you can rest assured that you'll get the best possible result. We pride ourselves on high-quality work in every aspect of our job, and we'll apply our carpentry skills and painting skills to provide you the kitchen of your dreams.

If you're planning on a kitchen renovation, remember that you don't have to start from scratch. By reusing your old cabinets, you can save money and time while still obtaining high-quality finishes and a breath of fresh air in the most-loved room in your home.
