Interior Painting

How much do interior painters charge?

Price typically depends on:

  • The amount of rooms

  • The material of your walls

  • How high your ceilings are

  • Are we painting doors, trim, ceilings or stairs too?

  • Are the walls damaged in any areas?

  • Are there special considerations like wallpaper removal?

  • Are we supplying the paint?

  • Are we going from light to dark or dark to light?

  • Are you in a rush?Because of all of these variables, it’s difficult to ballpark on price. We can tell you that we’re not your cheapest option, but we’re not your most expensive either. We don’t aim to compete on price, but rather focus on high quality work and excellent customer service.

Do you need to come to my house or office to provide a quote?

No we do not! Our quote form is quite comprehensive and we can provide a solid quote based on that information and a simple video call or through photos or video that you send to us. There are exceptions when we feel a site visit is necessary, but we can typically skip them to keep the process efficient for everyone.

How fast can you typically start and how long do jobs take?

Our start time varies on our client load. We aim to start new jobs within 1-2 weeks, but sometimes we need as much as 6 weeks of lead time. We are a growing business and always looking for high-end, qualified and experienced painters and project managers to join our team. If you know anyone, please refer them to our careers page!

How do I prepare my interior to be painted?

Included in our quote is the moving of furniture big or small, within the space, to accommodate interior painting. However, we ask that the furniture be empty with nothing on top. Please remove everything from the walls, everything from furniture to be moved, all clutter, all valuables. If we are painting closets then the closets need to be completely empty. If an accident happens, we are insured and bonded.

What type of paint do you use if I don’t buy my own?

Our paint of choice is Benjamin Moore, Regal Select. We believe this paint offers the best protection and durability. It’s also zero VOC which means it’s safer for you and the environment and lacks odour.

What COVID-19 precautions are you taking?

Safety is our paramount concern during this pandemic. All staff will wear masks while in your environment at all times and wash hands diligently to avoid any germ spread.

Exterior Painting

Can you paint my exterior in extreme temperatures?

Exterior painting is ruled by the weather, which dictates that temperatures be between 50-90F or 10-32C. It’s also best to follow the shade and not paint in direct sunlight, when possible. For obvious reasons, exterior paint jobs can be delayed when there’s rain and wind as well.

What if my house or building is dirty, do you include pressure washing?

We can pressure wash if need be. We take exterior painting jobs on a case-by-case basis and will work out these details with you at the quote stage!

House and Condo Painting

Can you paint inside when it’s really hot or really cold?

Yes, we can paint interiors of any kind all year, assuming the inside temperatures can be moderated. Paint dries best between 10-32 degrees celsius. Paint will dry at about the same pace within this temperature range.

Do you paint homes in Toronto and the GTA?

Yes, we service the entire Toronto area (including Scarborough) and are willing to travel to Mississauga, Etobicoke, North York and Oakville.

What if I only need one room painted, is that too small?

Not at all! Please fill out our quote form or give us a call, we’ll be happy to help.

Will you use whatever paint I provide?

Yes. If you don’t have paint, we’ll provide Benjamin Moore, Regal Select in whatever finish and colour you choose.

Can I refer you to our building’s board of directors?

Absolutely! Just get in touch through our form or give us call and let us know what information they need to consider us for the job.

Ceiling Repair

Do ceilings cost a lot extra?

It really depends on the following:

  • How big and how tall is it?

  • Is it textured? Does it have exposed beams? Is it a drop ceiling?

  • Is there water damage or other repair issues?

  • Do you need popcorn removal?

  • Are you going from a dark to light colour?

Do you paint ceilings or walls first?

We will paint the ceilings first so that we can cover up any paint drips that got onto the walls from painting the ceilings. If you’re hiring us to ONLY paint your ceilings, then we’ll use to drop cloths to make sure there are no drips :)

Handyman & Carpentry

What do your handyman services consist of?

We can install or repair flooring, doors and trim.

We can build or repair decks and balconies.

We remove wall and ceiling surfaces like popcorn ceilings or stucco.

If you’re interested in a handyman service not mentioned here, please contact us and ask! We may be able to collaborate on it with other high-quality tradesmen we are experienced with and if not, we’ll be happy to refer you in the right direction.
